Brand Story｜Sleep with the Mountains, Walk with Nature

MCED GEARS CO. was born from the legacy of Xiushan Outdoor, a household name in southern Taiwan with over 40 years of outdoor retail experience. Based in Tainan, Xiushan has guided generations of mountain lovers into the wild.

In 2023, we launched MCED—a new chapter focused on creating outdoor gear truly made for Taiwan. We began with what we know best: professionally crafted down sleeping bags, designed and made entirely in Taiwan.

Each bag is carefully built by skilled local hands, using high-quality water-resistant down and technical fabrics, tested in real mountain conditions to ensure comfort and performance.

MCED stands for Mountain Camp Equipment Design—a reflection of our passion for the outdoors and our commitment to the gear that supports it.

山與營工作室 MCED，誕生自南台灣知名戶外老店秀山莊，承襲其在地深耕超過 40 年的戶外經驗。秀山莊自台南起家，陪伴無數山友走進山林，是許多在地人心中的第一間登山店。

2023 年，我們以這份專業為基礎，創立了子品牌 MCED GEARS CO.，希望打造一個真正屬於台灣的戶外裝備品牌。MCED 的起點是我們最熟悉、也最重要的裝備之一——台灣製造的專業羽絨睡袋。

每一顆羽絨、每一道縫線，皆由台灣在地職人手工打造，搭配高規格羽絨與防潑水布料，並通過實地測試，確保能應對台灣多變的山岳環境。
